The short answer

MSME Global Mart is the business portal of the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). On 19 October 2026 its membership page lists Gold at Rs 6,000 plus 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST), or Rs 7,080. The same page shows a micro unit with Udyam Registration (the free MSME registration) paying Rs 1,770, because a 75% subsidy comes off before payment, and a Basic plan free for 30 days.

The rule that decides everything: the 75% subsidy is only for a micro enterprise with a valid Udyam Registration, and the order page checks your Udyam number and the mobile number linked to it before you pay. Test the free plan first and decide on day 25.

Validity or deadlineMembership runs one year. The subsidy can be used once a year. The NSIC FAQs say the scheme is valid up to financial year (FY) 2025-26, and Office Memorandum No. 5(9)/2021-22/PMS/Misc dated 2 April 2026 says a temporary continuation of the PMS Scheme up to 30 September 2026, on the same terms, was under process. The Ministry of MSME’s MyMSME portal now notes a temporary extension of the scheme from October 2026 with no end date, and the NSIC order page still charged a micro unit Rs 1,770 on 25 October 2026, so check the price on the order page and with NSIC (+91-11-26926275 or info@msmemart.com, as published on msmemart.com) before you pay

Why we wrote this

A micro exporter who sees the Rs 1,770 price on the NSIC membership page usually asks two things. Is the price real, and will the portal bring buyers. The first question has an official answer. Only your own enquiry numbers can answer the second, and this post helps you collect them.

The subsidy is being paid. Sanction Order No. 07/2026-27 dated 8 June 2026 of the Office of the DC (MSME) released Rs 1,85,03,250 to NSIC for assistance given to 1,296 micro enterprises through MSME Global Mart. The Ministry of MSME Annual Report 2025-26 says 10,905 MSMEs were onboarded on the portal in the period its NSIC section reports, which runs from 1 January to 31 December 2025. No official page publishes how many enquiries a member receives.

Rasp International has served 500+ exporters since it was founded in 2019 and is ISO 9001:2015 certified. This post neither sells the portal nor runs it down. It sets out what the official pages say on 19 October 2026 and gives you a 25 day test you can run yourself.

What MSME Global Mart and the PMS subsidy are

MSME Global Mart is a business to business (B2B) e-marketing portal that lets Indian MSMEs publish a company page and products and receive tender alerts and trade leads, run by NSIC under the Ministry of MSME. The NSIC FAQs of 30 May 2025 call this B2B portal non-transactional, which means buyers and sellers meet there but no order or payment passes through it. The portal sits at msmemart.com.

MSME Global Mart 2.0 was launched on MSME Day, 27 June 2026, according to Press Information Bureau (PIB) release ID 2278392 of that date. The gateway at msmeglobalmart.com now sends visitors to two doors: the B2B portal at msmemart.com and a business to consumer (B2C) portal at b2c.msmemart.com. The plans in this post are the B2B Gold plans. The micro order page names the plan “Gold B2B Membership”.

The PMS Scheme is a Ministry of MSME scheme that pays part of the marketing costs of micro and small enterprises, run by the Office of the DC (MSME) through its field offices and bodies such as NSIC. It also pays part of stall rent at domestic trade fairs under paragraph 5(I)(A), which Sanction No. 21/2026-27 dated 24 September 2026 shows running in FY 2026-27.

Paragraph 5(II)(C) of the PMS guidelines dated 26 July 2022 gives micro enterprises 75% of what they paid on the annual membership fee, the subscription fee or contingency expenses (photography, cataloguing and advertising) for selling up to 10 new products through MSME Global Mart. The assistance is capped at Rs 25,000 a financial year, excluding applicable taxes.

Udyam Registration records a unit as micro, small or medium, and the Udyam Registration portal states that it is free of cost and paperless. The category on your Udyam certificate is the category NSIC reads.

Gold for Rs 1,770 compared with the free Basic plan after day 30

For 30 days the Basic plan on the NSIC membership page shows almost every feature. On day 31 the features marked with a star go inactive. This table follows the membership page as it stood on 19 October 2026.

In short, the membership page shows a Basic member losing tender alerts, past tender results, trade leads, offers, enquiries and requests for quotation after day 30. Those are the features that bring buyer contact, so day 30 is the real end of the free test.

What most people get wrong about the Rs 1,770 plan

It is not a refund you wait for. The PMS guidelines of 26 July 2022 say micro enterprises “may submit their claims to NSIC for reimbursement”. On the NSIC order page the Rs 4,500 is already taken off, so you pay Rs 1,770 and not Rs 7,080. Sanction Order No. 07/2026-27 dated 8 June 2026 shows the Ministry then paying NSIC for the assistance NSIC has already given. For photography, cataloguing or advertising costs, the claim route in the guidelines is what applies, and NSIC publishes no claim form on the portal. Check with NSIC how to claim those.

The SC/ST plan is not a PMS plan. The membership page names the 80% subsidy for SC/ST micro and small enterprises as given “under NSSH Scheme”, the National SC-ST Hub. The 75% micro plan is the PMS plan. Treat them as two schemes with two sets of papers.

The printed end dates have passed. Both NSIC FAQ files say the scheme “is valid upto FY 2025-26”. Office Memorandum No. 5(9)/2021-22/PMS/Misc dated 2 April 2026 says a temporary continuation of the PMS Scheme “upto 30.09.2026 or till approval of the restructured scheme” was under process with the Department of Expenditure, on the same terms as before. On 25 October 2026 the NSIC micro order page still took the Rs 4,500 subsidy off, and the Ministry’s My MSME page for the PMS Scheme refers to a “temporary extension of the PMS Scheme”. Ask NSIC to confirm that the subsidy applies on the date you pay.

The free plan list differs between two NSIC pages. On the membership page the company webpage carries a star, which means it goes inactive after 30 days, and the product showcase does not. In the NSIC FAQs of 30 May 2025 it is the other way round. Check with NSIC what a Basic member’s listing shows on day 31.

“Free” SC/ST Gold. The free registration page tells SC/ST owners to “register under SC-ST Gold Membership for free”, while the SC/ST order page shows Rs 1,416. Check with NSIC or the nearest National SC-ST Hub office before you rely on either.

Before you pay: take a screenshot of the order page with the plan amount, the subsidy line and the total. Keep the payment receipt and the email with your user id. If the subsidy line is missing on the day you pay, stop and ask NSIC.

Who qualifies for the 75% plan and who does not

Under paragraph 5(II)(C) of the PMS guidelines and the NSIC FAQs of 30 May 2025, the 75% micro plan fits a unit when every line below is true.

  • The unit holds a valid Udyam Registration in the micro category.
  • The unit is in manufacturing or services. NSIC says both qualify.
  • You can use the mobile number linked to the Udyam Registration, which the order page validates.
  • The unit has a PAN and can name keywords for tender alerts.
  • The unit has not used the micro subsidy this year. NSIC allows it once a year.

These units pay a different amount or do not fit the 75% plan as written.

  • A small or medium enterprise that is not SC/ST owned. Paragraph 5(II)(C) names micro enterprises only, so such a unit pays Rs 7,080 for Gold on the NSIC membership page.
  • A unit with no Udyam Registration. The NSIC FAQs say a valid Udyam certificate in the micro category is a must.
  • A current Gold member hoping to switch mid-term. The NSIC FAQs say an existing Gold member takes the subsidy at renewal.

Edge cases to check before you pay

An informal micro enterprise with an Udyam Assist Certificate

Office Memorandum No. 5(7)/2024-25/PMS/PMVBen dated 7 September 2026 rewrote paragraph 3.0 of the PMS guidelines so that informal micro enterprises with a valid Udyam Assist Certificate (UAC) are eligible, for events scheduled from 1 October 2026. Paragraph 5(II)(C) still says “Micro Enterprises with valid Udyam Registration”, and the order page asks for an Udyam Registration Number. Check with NSIC whether a UAC holder can take the Rs 1,770 plan.

A merchant exporter whose business is trading

On 19 October 2026 the micro order page offers only two business types, manufacturing and service. The SC/ST order page also offers trading and reseller. If your unit buys and exports goods made by others, check with NSIC before you pay whether the micro plan accepts it.

A unit that has grown out of the micro category

The order page reads your Udyam details at sign-up. If your Udyam category now shows small, the 75% plan does not fit as written, and only the SC/ST plan covers small units. Update your Udyam record if it is out of date, and check with NSIC before renewing on the micro plan.

A Uttar Pradesh unit that also eyes the state e-commerce subsidy

Uttar Pradesh has its own support for first year fees on an international e-commerce platform under Government Order 874/18-4-2025, explained in our UP e-commerce onboarding assistance guide. The order covers only international platforms that its Authorised Committee notifies. Check with the Export Promotion Bureau UP whether MSME Global Mart counts before you rely on both.

How to run the free test and then pay Rs 1,770

The order of work matters more than the form. The NSIC FAQs say a free member can take the micro subsidy with a valid Udyam certificate, so you lose nothing by starting free.

  1. Check your Udyam record. Confirm the category reads micro and the mobile number is one you use. The NSIC FAQs say your name, address and contact details are filled in from Udyam when you apply for the subsidy.
  2. Prepare the listing. Gather product photos, specifications, your PAN and your IEC if you have one. Write narrow keywords, because the NSIC FAQs say wrong keywords bring irrelevant enquiries.
  3. Register on the Basic plan on day 1. Use the Register button under Basic on the membership page and enter your Udyam number in the form.
  4. Build the page in week one. Add the company page and your main products. Products show only after the site moderator approves them.
  5. Log every contact from day 1 to day 24. Note each enquiry, trade lead and tender alert with the date, the buyer, the product, the quantity and the country.
  6. Count on day 25. Score the log with the table below while every feature is still active.
  7. Decide and pay before day 30. If you go ahead, use the micro plan’s Proceed button and check that the order page shows the Rs 4,500 deduction and a Rs 1,770 total before you pay.
  8. Note the expiry date. The NSIC FAQs price renewal within 30 days of expiry at Rs 5,000 plus GST, and Rs 6,000 plus GST after that.

The lapse rule: on day 31 a Basic member loses the starred features, and a Gold member who renews more than 30 days after expiry pays the higher renewal price, according to the NSIC FAQs of 30 May 2025. Fast track: none is published. The only other route is offline through an NSIC branch.

Then decide on your own numbers. Write down what one real order is worth to your unit and set it against the Rs 1,770 NSIC charges a micro unit for a year. A real enquiry is a start, not a buyer. Before you quote, run the checks in our guide to verifying a new overseas buyer.

Who this matters to, in five groups

First-time micro exporters with an IEC and no website. If you do not yet hold one, start with our guide to the Importer Exporter Code. A company page and a product showcase give a buyer something to check. Pair the listing with the basics in our guide to cross border e-commerce export setup, because a listing does not replace the IEC, GST and bank set-up behind a shipment. If you sell abroad through e-commerce, our post on the e-commerce exporter loan of up to Rs 50 lakh under DGFT Trade Notice 31/2025-26 covers the bank credit side.

Micro units that sell to government buyers. Keyword tender alerts and past tender results with the lowest bidder are Gold features. On the Basic plan both stop after day 30, according to the membership page, so count relevant tenders during the trial.

Craft, handloom and artisan units. The MSME Global Mart 2.0 gateway also links a B2C portal for retail buyers. The Rs 1,770 plan on the NSIC order page is the B2B Gold plan, so check with NSIC which plan covers a B2C shop.

Micro service exporters. The NSIC FAQs say service units qualify for the 75% plan as long as the Udyam category is micro. Keywords matter more for services, because buyers search by the job, not the product.

SC/ST owned micro and small units. The 80% plan at Rs 1,416 on the NSIC membership page covers small units too, under the National SC-ST Hub, and the order page asks for a passport photograph and a self-attested caste certificate.

Cautionary tale, an illustrative composite. A micro unit paid Rs 1,770 on day one, entered one broad keyword, uploaded three phone photos and kept no record of messages. The tender alerts did not match its products and two vague messages went unanswered. At renewal the owner had nothing to judge with. The point of no return came at the first payment: by skipping the free 30 days, the unit gave up its one chance to measure trade leads and enquiries before paying.

How Rasp International helps

We do MSME Global Mart registration for clients. We check the Udyam record, register the unit, build the company page and product listings and check the order page before payment, and we file in the client unit’s name, never ours. The client and Rasp International both hold the portal login, kept safe and confidential, and we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and a service level agreement (SLA) with every client. Our page on how we work sets this out in full.

For the listing itself, our services for international trade portal registration and IndiaMART and TradeIndia profiles cover how to write product pages, and our overseas buyer research helps you find buyers beyond any single portal. Exporters with Star Export House status, a strong export year or start-up recognition can also list on the government’s Source from India microsite on DGFT Trade Connect. If a buyer asks for a D-U-N-S Number, see our D-U-N-S Number guide for Indian exporters.

Honest limits of the Rs 1,770 plan

  • It does not promise a single enquiry or order. No NSIC page publishes enquiry numbers per member, which is why the day 25 count matters.
  • It does not cover the GST on your own share, and it lasts only as long as the scheme does. The NSIC order page charges Rs 270 GST on your Rs 1,500, and the NSIC FAQs still print FY 2025-26 as the end.
  • It does not check buyers or collect payment for you. The NSIC FAQs call the B2B portal non-transactional, so buyer checks, contracts and bank receipts stay with you.

What Is Not Yet Notified, Checked on 19 October 2026

  • How long the micro subsidy lasts. The Ministry of MSME’s MyMSME portal notes a temporary extension of the PMS Scheme from October 2026 but prints no end date, and no NSIC notice on the Global Mart subsidy after 30 September 2026, the date in Office Memorandum No. 5(9)/2021-22/PMS/Misc dated 2 April 2026, was found. The NSIC order page still charged a micro unit Rs 1,770 on 25 October 2026. Check the order page and with NSIC on +91-11-26926275 or info@msmemart.com before you pay.
  • Whether the 75% at renewal is worked out on the Rs 5,000 early renewal price in the NSIC FAQs or on the Rs 6,000 plan amount is not published. Check with NSIC.
  • How to claim the photography, cataloguing and advertising part, and how the Rs 25,000 cap in paragraph 5(II)(C) is shared with the membership fee, is not published on the portal. Check with NSIC.
  • Whether an Udyam Assist Certificate holder can take the micro plan after the amendment of 7 September 2026 is not stated. Check with NSIC or the PMS Division of the Office of the DC (MSME).
  • Whether a trading unit can take the micro plan is not stated. Check with NSIC.

Frequently asked questions

What is the MSME Global Mart membership fee in 2026?

On 19 October 2026 the NSIC membership page lists Gold at Rs 6,000 plus 18% GST, or Rs 7,080 a year. The same page shows Rs 1,770 for a micro unit with Udyam Registration after the 75% PMS subsidy, Rs 1,416 for SC/ST micro and small units and a Basic plan free for 30 days.

Is the 75% subsidy deducted upfront or paid back later?

For the membership fee it is taken off before you pay. The NSIC micro order page shows Rs 6,000, minus Rs 4,500 subsidy, plus Rs 270 GST, total Rs 1,770. The Ministry then pays NSIC, as Sanction Order No. 07/2026-27 shows. For photography or cataloguing costs, check the claim route with NSIC.

Is Udyam registration mandatory for the MSME Global Mart subsidy?

Yes. Paragraph 5(II)(C) of the PMS guidelines limits the 75% to micro enterprises with a valid Udyam Registration, and the NSIC FAQs say so too. The order page asks for your Udyam Registration Number and the mobile number linked to it, and validates both before you can pay.

Is the MSME Global Mart micro subsidy still available in 2026-27?

Yes, on 25 October 2026 the NSIC micro order page still took the 75% off, for a total of Rs 1,770. The Ministry of MSME’s MyMSME portal notes a temporary extension of the PMS Scheme from October 2026 with no end date, so check the order page and with NSIC on +91-11-26926275 before paying.

Can I get the MSME Global Mart subsidy every year?

The NSIC FAQs of 30 May 2025 say the subsidy can be used once a year per micro unit and applies to new members and renewals alike. Each year therefore depends on two things: your Udyam category still reading micro, and the scheme still running when you renew. Check both before each renewal.

What stops after the 30 day free trial on MSME Global Mart?

On the NSIC membership page, the starred features go inactive for Basic members after day 30: the company webpage, tender alerts, award of contract information, trade leads, discount offers, enquiries and requests for quotation. The NSIC FAQs mark the list slightly differently, so check with NSIC what stays visible.

What does MSME Global Mart Gold membership include?

The NSIC membership page lists a company webpage, a product and service showcase, keyword based tender alerts, past tender results with the lowest bidder, buy and sell trade leads, franchise and distribution offers and discounts on business services. It also lists enquiries, requests for quotation, price alerts and event information.

Is GST charged on the subsidised MSME Global Mart plan?

Yes, but only on your share. The NSIC micro order page charges 18% GST on the Rs 1,500 the micro unit pays, which is Rs 270, for a total of Rs 1,770. The order page works out the 75% on the Rs 6,000 plan amount before tax, so the subsidy does not cover the GST.

What do SC/ST entrepreneurs pay for MSME Global Mart Gold?

The NSIC membership page lists Rs 1,416 for SC/ST micro and small enterprises: Rs 1,200 after an 80% subsidy under the National SC-ST Hub scheme, plus Rs 216 GST. The SC/ST order page asks for Udyam Registration, a passport photograph and a self-attested caste certificate. One NSIC page says free, so confirm first.

Can a small enterprise get the 75% MSME Global Mart subsidy?

Not as the guidelines are written. Paragraph 5(II)(C) of the PMS guidelines names micro enterprises only. A small enterprise pays the Gold plan without subsidy, Rs 7,080 on the NSIC membership page, unless it is SC/ST owned, in which case the 80% National SC-ST Hub plan covers micro and small units.

Will MSME Global Mart bring me export buyers?

No official page promises that, and NSIC publishes no enquiry numbers per member. The portal gives you a listing, trade leads and tender alerts. Whether buyers for your product use it is something only a test shows, which is why we suggest counting real enquiries on day 25 of the free plan.

Can I claim photography and cataloguing costs under the e-commerce subsidy?

Paragraph 5(II)(C) of the PMS guidelines covers contingency expenses such as photography, cataloguing and advertising, at 75% within the Rs 25,000 yearly cap, for up to 10 new products. The guidelines say claims go to NSIC for reimbursement, but no claim form is published on the portal. Ask NSIC first.

How much does MSME Global Mart renewal cost?

The NSIC FAQs of 30 May 2025 say a Gold member who renews within 30 days of expiry pays Rs 5,000 plus GST, and Rs 6,000 plus GST after that. A micro unit can take the subsidy at renewal, but how it applies to the Rs 5,000 price is not published, so ask NSIC.

Can an Udyam Assist certificate holder get the subsidy?

Not clearly. The amendment dated 7 September 2026 made informal micro enterprises with an Udyam Assist Certificate eligible under the PMS Scheme for events from 1 October 2026. The e-commerce paragraph and the NSIC order page still ask for Udyam Registration, so check with NSIC before you pay.

Do I need a consultant to register on MSME Global Mart?

No. The NSIC membership page sets out six steps a unit can follow itself, online or through an NSIC branch. Help is useful for narrow keywords, product pages and checking buyers who reply. We do this registration for clients, in the client unit’s name, and both of us hold the login.

Your checklist for this week

  • Open your Udyam certificate and confirm the category reads micro and the linked mobile number is one you use.
  • Register on the free Basic plan and upload your company page and your main products.
  • Start an enquiry log with the date, buyer, product, quantity and country for every message.
  • Mark day 25 in your calendar and ask NSIC, before you pay, whether the micro subsidy applies on that date.

Day 25 and unsure what your enquiries are worth. Send us the names behind them on WhatsApp. We will help you check the buyers before you quote or ship.
