Build a career in Indian export trade

Rasp International is an ISO 9001:2015 certified export and import consultancy based in Agra. We handle DGFT licensing, export incentives, customs compliance and buyer growth for exporters across India. If you want to learn how India actually trades with the world, this is a good place to learn it.

Who we are

Rasp International is a family run consultancy with a legacy in international trade since 2005. We have supported more than 500 Indian exporters on Importer Exporter Code (IEC) registration, DGFT licensing, RoDTEP and other export incentive claims, customs clearance and overseas buyer development.

The team is small. That is the point. There is no layer of managers between you and the client, and no bench where new people sit for six months doing nothing. You will be on live files early, with someone senior checking your work until you are ready to own it.

Our office is at A-39, New Agra, Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282005. Most roles are on site in Agra. Content and marketing roles can be remote or hybrid for the right person.

What you actually get

Real files from week one

You will work on live shipping bills, licence applications and incentive claims for real exporters. Not sample data, not shadowing for a quarter.

A skill that is hard to copy

Foreign trade policy, customs procedure and DGFT systems are not taught well anywhere. People who know them properly stay in demand for decades.

Your work is visible

In a small team nothing you do disappears into a report nobody reads. Good work gets noticed quickly. So does careless work.

Global exposure from Agra

Our clients ship to the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the Gulf and Africa. You learn how those markets buy without leaving India.

You will be taught, not tested

Nobody joins knowing Appendix 4R or the e-BRC process. We expect to train you. We expect you to take notes and not ask the same question three times.

Clean, documented process

We are ISO 9001:2015 certified. Work is checklisted and recorded, so you learn a proper system instead of guesswork.

Roles we hire for

We hire through the year as work grows. Even when nothing is formally open, we read every application and keep strong profiles on file. Apply for the closest fit.

EXIM Documentation Executive

Prepare and check export documents. Invoices, packing lists, shipping bill checklists, Certificate of Origin, e-BRC closure and file records.

Suits: Graduates in commerce, foreign trade or logistics. Freshers welcome.

DGFT and Licensing Associate

File on the DGFT portal. IEC registration and annual updation, RCMC, RoDTEP and RoSCTL claims, EPCG and Advance Authorisation applications and closure.

Suits: Anyone comfortable with government portals, deadlines and detail.

Customs and Logistics Coordinator

Coordinate with clearing agents, freight forwarders, transporters and port staff. Track consignments and clear blockages before they cost the client money.

Suits: People who follow up hard and stay calm on the phone.

Client Relationship Executive

Own a set of exporter accounts. Understand what they need, explain what we are doing, chase the documents we are missing and keep the file moving.

Suits: Clear communicators in English and Hindi who enjoy client contact.

Content and SEO Associate

Research and write about foreign trade policy, schemes and export procedure. Keep our guides accurate and improve how we rank in search and in AI answers.

Suits: Strong written English and the patience to check a rule before publishing it.

Digital Marketing Executive

Run buyer outreach and paid campaigns for exporter clients. Google and LinkedIn ads, trade portal listings, email and WhatsApp sequences, reporting.

Suits: People who read numbers honestly and test instead of guessing.

Internships in foreign trade

We take a small number of interns each year, usually for eight to twelve weeks. It is a working internship. You sit with the documentation team, learn the DGFT and customs systems, and leave with a project you can actually defend in an interview.

Good fits are students of foreign trade, international business, commerce, supply chain or law. Mention your college, your course dates and how many weeks you are free.

What we look for

Non negotiable

You check before you claim. In this work, a confident wrong answer costs a client real money.

You reply. To clients, to the team, to email. Silence is the main thing that breaks trade files.

You are careful with numbers, codes and dates. One wrong digit in an account number stops a payment.

You keep client information confidential. Always.

Helps a lot

Comfortable English on email and on call. Hindi for most client conversations.

Basic Excel or Google Sheets. Filters, lookups, clean records.

Any exposure to exports, customs, freight, banking or GST.

Willingness to use AI tools properly, and to verify what they produce.

How to apply

There is no application form. Send an email. We read all of them.

1

Email your application

Write to info@raspinternational.in from the address you check daily.

2

Use this subject line

Application, then the role, then your name. For example: Application, EXIM Documentation Executive, Rahul Sharma. It helps us route your email to the right person on day one.

3

Attach your CV as a PDF

One file, under 2 MB, named with your own name. Add a link to your portfolio or writing samples if you are applying for a content or marketing role.

4

Write five lines in the email body

Where you are based, whether you can work from Agra, when you can start, your notice period if any, and one line on why this work interests you. Five lines is enough. A long cover letter does not help you here.

5

What happens next

We review applications in batches. If your profile fits, someone will call you for a short conversation, then invite you for a discussion at the office or on video. Shortlisted candidates may get a small practical task related to the role.

Careers FAQ

Do you hire freshers?

Yes. Several roles are open to freshers, especially documentation and licensing work. We would rather train someone careful from the start than retrain someone who has picked up bad habits. What we cannot train is attention to detail and follow through.

Do I need an export or logistics background to apply?

No. It helps, but it is not required. Foreign trade policy, DGFT procedure and customs process are learned on the job in almost every firm in this industry, because no college teaches them at working depth. Bring accuracy and English, and we will teach the trade side.

Is remote work possible?

Documentation, licensing and customs coordination roles are on site in Agra, because they need file access, client calls and coordination that does not work well over chat. Content, SEO and digital marketing roles can be remote or hybrid for a candidate with a track record.

What is the salary?

Salary depends on the role, your experience and what you can actually do, so we discuss it directly rather than posting a range that fits nobody. Tell us your current or expected salary in your email and we will tell you early whether we can match it. We will not waste your time through four rounds and then reveal a number.

Do you offer paid internships?

We offer a stipend for full time internships of eight weeks or more, depending on the role and your availability. Short project based internships may be unpaid but always carry a certificate and a written reference if your work is good.

How long does the hiring process take?

Usually two to three weeks from application to decision. If a role is urgent it can be faster. If we are not hiring at that moment we will keep your CV on file and contact you when something opens, so it is worth applying even when nothing is advertised.

I did not get a reply. Should I follow up?

Yes, once, after ten working days. Reply on the same email thread rather than sending a fresh mail, so we can see your original application. We read every email but we cannot always respond to each one immediately.

Send us your application

One email, a PDF CV and five honest lines. That is the whole process.
