The variable that actually determines timeline is not development, it is how quickly content, photography, and product data arrive from your side. Projects stall on content, almost never on code.
Why WordPress and not a custom platform?
Because it is maintainable by people other than us. A custom platform means you are permanently dependent on whoever built it, and when they disappear you are stuck. WordPress can be handed to any competent developer, and you can edit your own content without calling anyone.
Can you fix my existing site instead of rebuilding?
Often yes, and it is the cheaper path. A site that is structurally sound but slow, badly written, or leaking conversions can usually be repaired for a fraction of a rebuild.
