e-BRC Assistance

499

Bank Realisation Certificate reconciliation and correction, coordinated with your authorised dealer bank. One to two weeks.

Category:

An electronic Bank Realisation Certificate is the record that your export payment actually came in. It closes the loop on your shipping bill and it is what DGFT checks when your export obligations and incentive claims are assessed. Missing or unmatched e-BRCs surface later as blocked benefits.

What we do

  • Review your outstanding shipping bills against realised payments
  • Identify e-BRCs that are missing, unmatched or incorrectly mapped
  • Coordinate with your authorised dealer bank to generate or correct the certificate
  • Verify the e-BRC reflects correctly on the DGFT portal against the relevant shipping bill
  • Flag realisation gaps that affect your export obligation position

Timeline

One to two weeks. The variable is your bank. Generation and correction sit with your authorised dealer, and we follow up until it is done rather than handing you back a pending item.

Pricing

From ₹499, varying by the number of shipping bills and whether corrections are required. We confirm the exact figure on our call.

Worth knowing

Exporters usually discover an e-BRC problem at the worst moment, when a licence is being redeemed or an incentive claim is under scrutiny. Reconciling periodically is far cheaper than reconstructing under deadline.

How it starts

We call you within one working day to review your shipping bills and realisation position.

Common questions

What is an e-BRC and why do I need one?

It is the electronic record confirming that payment for your export has actually been realised. It is what closes the loop on a shipment. Without it your incentive claims and your export records stay open.

What happens if I never generate it?

Incentive claims tied to those shipments stay unsupported, and unrealised export proceeds can attract attention under foreign exchange regulations. Exporters usually discover this when a claim is questioned, which is the worst time to discover it.

Why do exporters end up with a backlog?

Because nothing blocks you at the time. The shipment goes out, the money comes in, business continues, and the record is never closed. It becomes a problem months later when a claim needs the supporting document.

Can you fix historical shipments?

Usually yes, and that is most of what this service is. We work through the backlog, reconcile bank realisations against shipping bills and close the records.

Why does it take one to two weeks?

Because it depends on bank confirmation of the inward remittance, which is outside our control. Where your bank is responsive it is faster. Where realisations need tracing across multiple shipments, it takes the full window.

Does this help with my RoDTEP or drawback claims?

It supports them. Realisation evidence is part of a defensible incentive position. If your claims are already filed and pending, closing the e-BRC records removes one common reason for them being held up.
