What This Combo Covers

Everything a first time Indian exporter must register before a single container can legally leave the country, plus the document set that container will travel on. You get six registrations and a complete export document bundle under one engagement, handled by our compliance desk from application to issue.

Bought one by one, these are six separate applications across four different government systems, each with its own document format and its own rejection rules. Bought as this combo, you hand over one set of papers and we run all of it.

Export Document Bundle

Registrations get you legally allowed to export. Documents get the goods through customs and get you paid. This combo includes both.

  • Your document templates. Commercial invoice, packing list and proforma invoice, built around your specific product and HS code rather than a generic download.
  • A full review before your first shipment. We read your invoice, packing list and buyer purchase order side by side and correct anything that does not match across all three.
  • Incoterms and description matching. We make sure the product description, weights and Incoterms say the same thing on every document. Mismatched descriptions across documents are the single most common reason a first shipment gets held.
  • Letter of Credit mapping, if you have one. Send us the full LC text and we check every clause against your documents before they reach the bank, so you do not lose money to a discrepancy at the negotiating desk.
  • A handover checklist for each party. One clear list each for your CHA, your freight forwarder and your bank, so everyone gets exactly the papers they need and nobody comes back asking.
  • One round of corrections on the drafts you send us.

Why the Order of These Steps Matters

  • You cannot skip ahead. RCMC needs your IEC first. ICEGATE needs your DSC first. AD Code needs a bank letter that names your firm exactly as your IEC does. Getting these in the wrong order is what turns a three week job into a three month one.
  • Small mismatches kill claims months later. If the account number, IFSC or AD Code registered on ICEGATE does not match your bank records exactly, your RoDTEP and drawback money has nowhere to land. The failure shows up long after the shipment has gone, when it is far harder to fix.
  • Name and address formatting is strict. Your bank account name must match your firm name exactly, and it is case sensitive. Cancelled cheques must be pre printed, because handwritten ones get rejected. Your branch address has to follow the serial order on your GST certificate. We check all of this before anything is filed.
  • PAN and Aadhaar must be linked. If they are not, DGFT OTP authentication will not work at all and your IEC application stops before it starts. We check this on day one rather than on the day of filing.

Government Fees and Third Party Costs

The price shown is our professional fee only. Government fees and any receipted third party costs are billed to you separately, at actuals, with the receipt. This includes DGFT filing fees, Export Promotion Council membership and RCMC fees and any port or bank charges. We tell you what each one is before it is paid, and we never mark them up.

The one exception is your DSC USB token, which is already included in the combo price.

What Is Not Included

  • Customs clearance filing. Your shipping bill is filed by your licensed CHA, which is a legal requirement. Our job is to make sure the data you hand your CHA is correct, so their filing goes through clean.
  • Freight booking and physical movement of cargo. That stays with your freight forwarder.
  • Government fees and receipted third party costs, as set out above.

How It Works

  1. Kick off call. We look at your entity type, your product, your HS code and the port you plan to ship from, then send you one document checklist built for your exact situation.
  2. Document check. Before we file anything, we verify your PAN, GST, bank and address documents against each other and flag anything that will cause a rejection.
  3. Registrations, in the right order. IEC first, then DSC, then RCMC, ICEGATE, AD Code and bank account registration, each tracked until the certificate is in your hands.
  4. Document bundle. We build your templates, review your first shipment paperwork and give you the handover checklists.
  5. Handover. You receive every certificate, every login and a written summary of what you now hold and what you have to renew.

Frequently Asked Questions

What registrations does a first time exporter in India actually need?

At minimum you need an IEC to be legally allowed to export, a Class 3 DSC to sign filings, ICEGATE registration to interact with customs, an AD Code registered at your shipping port and your bank account registered so refunds can reach you. An RCMC is needed to claim most export incentives and to access Export Promotion Council benefits. This combo covers all six.

Is the DSC USB token included in the price or charged separately?

It is included. You receive a Class 3 Digital Signature Certificate together with the USB token, valid for 2 years, and the token cost sits inside the combo price. This is the one hardware item we do not bill separately.

How long does the full setup take?

The clock starts when your documents are complete and correct, not when you place the order. After that, timelines depend on DGFT portal processing, your Export Promotion Council and your bank, none of which we control. The steps also run in sequence rather than in parallel, because RCMC needs your IEC and ICEGATE needs your DSC. The single biggest cause of delay is incomplete paperwork at the start, which is exactly why we run a document check before filing anything.

Why is this cheaper than buying each registration separately?

Because we only collect and verify your documents once. Filing six registrations for the same entity separately means repeating the same KYC check six times. Doing them together as one engagement removes that duplication, and we pass the saving on. That is the whole reason this is sold as a combo.

Do you handle customs clearance and file my shipping bill?

No. Shipping bills must be filed by your licensed CHA, and that is a legal requirement we cannot work around. What we do is make sure the commercial data you give your CHA is accurate, so they do not flag the wrong scheme or enter the wrong quantities. A CHA working from clean inputs is the difference between a smooth clearance and a hold.

What happens if my documents do not match each other?

We find it and fix it before filing, which is the entire point of the document check. Common problems include a bank account name that does not exactly match the firm name, a handwritten cancelled cheque instead of a pre printed one, a branch address that does not follow the GST certificate order and PAN not being linked to Aadhaar. Each of these will stop an application, and each is easy to fix in advance and painful to fix afterwards.

Do I need to renew any of these registrations?

Yes, two of them. Your IEC must be confirmed every year between 1 April and 30 June, even if nothing about your business has changed. Confirming with no changes is free, and modifying details costs a small fee. Missing that window deactivates your IEC. Your DSC is valid for 2 years from issue and then needs renewal. We tell you both dates in writing at handover.

Can I buy just one registration instead of the whole combo?

Yes. Several of these are available individually in our shop, including IEC registration on its own. The combo makes sense if you need most or all of them, which is the usual position for a business exporting for the first time. If you already hold an IEC and only need the rest, talk to us first and we will scope it properly rather than sell you something you do not need.
