The short answer
If your Uttar Pradesh MSME unit took a stall at the UP International Trade Show 2026 in Greater Noida, you may be able to claim back 75 percent of the stall space rent up to Rs 75,000 and 75 percent of one person’s economy travel up to Rs 30,000 under Government Order No. 811/18-4-2025 dated 6 November 2025. Confirm with your District Industries Centre (DIC) first that the show is accepted under the order. The claim must be filed online within 120 days of the day the show ended, and both the Export Promotion Bureau UP and UP Export Promotion Council registrations must have existed before you booked the stall.
The rule that decides everything: in the claims we file, the 120 days run from 30 September 2026, the day after the show ended, so the last date is 27 January 2027 and December is the safe month to file.

Why we wrote this
The official show website shows 2,290 exhibitors. Many of them are Uttar Pradesh MSME exporters who paid for a stall and travelled to Greater Noida. Government Order 811 was written for spending of that kind, and an exhibitor may be able to claim part of it back. Yet the order prints no claim form, no document list and no portal address, and exporters find out about the 120 day window after it has closed.
Rasp International has served 500+ exporters since 2019 and files UP subsidy claims in the client unit’s name. This post covers only the show claim. The full scheme, with every fair category and worked examples, is on our UP trade fair subsidy guide.
What Government Order 811 pays an exhibitor at a fair in India
Government Order 811 pays space rent. Stall building billed by a separate contractor is a different cost.Government Order 811 category 3 is the part of the Quick Export Development Incentive Scheme that pays for an international level fair held in India. Paragraph 3 of Government Order No. 811/18-4-2025 sets two heads for the exhibitor, both at 75 percent of actual spending.
| Head in Government Order 811 | What is covered | Rate | Cap | Condition in the order |
|---|
| 3(a) Space rent | Rent of the stall space at an international level fair in India | 75 percent of actual spending | Rs 75,000 | Fair organised by a named body or recommended or notified by one, category 3(c) |
| 3(b) Travel | Economy bus, rail or air travel of the proprietor, partner, director or authorised person, one person only | 75 percent of actual fare | Rs 30,000 | One person per fair |
| Paragraph 4 | All Government Order 811 heads together for one unit | Not applicable | Rs 25 lakh per financial year | Fairs, samples, publicity and certification share this one ceiling |
Space rent means the rent of the floor space. Government Order No. 811/18-4-2025 does not mention stall building, lighting, furniture or decoration. In the claims we file, a built-up stall package billed by the organiser is treated as space rent. A separate stall contractor’s bill for fit-out is a different cost. The show’s exhibitor help page lists contractors for exhibitors who book bare space, so many units hold two bills. Keep the organiser’s invoice apart from the contractor’s invoice.
Whether the UP International Trade Show 2026 qualifies
Ask your DIC in writing whether the show is accepted under category 3 before you file.Category 3(c) of Government Order 811 says the fair must be organised by an export promotion council under the centre or a state, or recommended or notified by the central government, a state government, an apex trade body, a commodity board or an Indian embassy or consulate. The official show website lists the Government of Uttar Pradesh and India Exposition Mart Ltd under “Organised By”, and the Chief Minister’s message on the same site calls the show co-organised by both. A fair organised by the state government may be able to pass the category 3(c) test.
The order does not name the show, and the Authorised Committee decides each claim. Rasp International makes no promise that the claim will be accepted. Before you spend time or money on the claim, ask your District Industries Centre (DIC) in writing whether the UP International Trade Show 2026 is accepted under category 3, and keep the reply with your claim.

Your claim deadline: 27 January 2027
Paragraph 5(1) of Government Order 811 says the claim must be filed online within 120 days of the date the work is done. For a fair, the work is done on the day the fair ends. The UP International Trade Show 2026 ended on 29 September 2026, by the official show website.
In the claims we file, the 120 days are counted from 30 September 2026, the day after the show ended. Day 120 is 27 January 2027, and that is the last date. A claim filed after it is not accepted, and the order gives no appeal route. File in December 2026 and leave January for queries.
Point of no return: Government Order 811 pays only a unit that was registered with the Export Promotion Bureau UP and the UP Export Promotion Council at the time of the work. If your unit booked and paid for the stall before both registrations existed, no filing in January 2027 can repair it. A registration made after the show does not count for this claim.
Who can claim and who cannot
Category 3(b) pays economy travel for one person, up to Rs 30,000.Who qualifies under Government Order No. 811/18-4-2025:
- An MSME unit of Uttar Pradesh with a valid Udyam registration, an Importer Exporter Code (IEC) and goods or services exported from the unit.
- Registered with the Export Promotion Bureau UP and the UP Export Promotion Council before the stall was booked and paid for. Our Export Promotion Bureau and UPEPC registration page explains both.
- Paid the stall space rent and the travel fare from the unit’s own bank account, in the unit’s name.
- Has not claimed the same stall or travel cost under any other central or state scheme. Paragraph 8 of Government Order 811 bars a second benefit for the same purpose.
Who cannot claim:
- A unit outside Uttar Pradesh, or a unit that is not an MSME.
- A unit that registered with the Bureau or the Council after the show.
- A second partner or director for travel. Category 3(b) pays one person per fair.
- A unit that already used its full Rs 25 lakh Government Order 811 ceiling for the financial year on other heads.
- A visitor who attended without a stall. Category 3 pays space rent and the travel that goes with it.
What Government Order 811 itself asks you to show
Government Order 811 prints no claim form and no document list. The order does set four conditions, and every paper in the claim exists to prove one of them.
- The unit was registered with the Export Promotion Bureau UP and the UP Export Promotion Council at the time of the work, so both registrations predate the stall booking and payment.
- The unit itself spent the money on space rent at the fair and on economy travel for one named person, so the invoices and the payments are in the unit’s name.
- The fair passes the category 3(c) test, so there is proof of who organised, recommended or notified it.
- No other central or state scheme has paid or been asked for the same cost, under paragraph 8.
What your district asks for beyond that, including whether an affidavit on stamp paper is needed for a Government Order 811 trade fair claim, is a question for your DIC. Rasp International handles the document check and the filing for its clients. Send your stall invoice and your registration dates on WhatsApp and we tell you what is missing.
How the claim moves after you file
Government Order 811 uses the district route. Paragraph 5 of Government Order No. 811/18-4-2025 sets these steps and day counts.
- File online within 120 days. Government Order 811 does not print the web address of the portal. Rasp International files the claim for its clients. If you file yourself, your DIC gives you the route.
- 15 days to correct your own mistakes. From the date of application you can fix the claim yourself. After that it shows on the portal of the District Industries Promotion and Entrepreneurship Development Centre.
- District examination within 21 days. The Deputy Commissioner Industry examines the claim and forwards it to the Export Promotion Bureau. An incomplete claim is returned with 15 days to fix, and the district re-examines within 21 days.
- Automatic forwarding. If the district neither forwards nor returns the claim within 21 days, the claim goes to the Bureau on its own. An ineligible claim is forwarded with a rejection recommendation.
- Bureau and Authorised Committee. The Bureau takes the claim online within 15 days and puts it on the agenda of the Authorised Committee, chaired by the Export Commissioner. The committee approves claims first come first served, subject to the budget of the financial year.
- Payment. Approved money comes by Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT, a payment straight into the unit’s bank account). The order sets no payment date.

Worked example in rupees
This example is illustrative. The figures are round numbers, not a real client’s claim.
| Item | Unit A: 18 square metre stall | Unit B: 9 square metre stall |
|---|
| Space rent before GST (the figure the claim is worked out on) | Rs 1,20,000 | Rs 60,000 |
| GST at 18 percent on the rent (not counted in the claim) | Rs 21,600 | Rs 10,800 |
| Amount paid to the organiser | Rs 1,41,600 | Rs 70,800 |
| 75 percent of space rent | Rs 90,000 | Rs 45,000 |
| Space rent payable (cap Rs 75,000) | Rs 75,000 | Rs 45,000 |
| Economy travel for one person | Rs 6,000 by air | Rs 2,000 by train |
| Travel payable (75 percent, cap Rs 30,000) | Rs 4,500 | Rs 1,500 |
| Total claim | Rs 79,500 | Rs 46,500 |
Unit A loses Rs 15,000 to the space rent cap. Unit B stays under the cap and gets the full 75 percent. Both totals count against the unit’s Rs 25 lakh Government Order 811 ceiling for the financial year under paragraph 4. The order does not say whether the 75 percent is worked out before or after GST. In the claims we file, it is worked out on the stall rent before GST, still capped at Rs 75,000. A stall billed at Rs 1,00,000 plus 18 percent GST is claimed on Rs 1,00,000, so 75 percent is Rs 75,000 and the GST of Rs 18,000 stays with the unit.
Where show claims go wrong
| Failure | What you see | What actually broke |
|---|
| Registered after the show | Claim rejected or forwarded with a rejection recommendation | Government Order 811 pays a unit registered at the time of the work. Our post register first, spend later explains why this cannot be fixed afterwards. |
| Filed on day 121 or later | Claim not accepted | Paragraph 5(1) sets 120 days from the day the fair ends, and the unit counted from the invoice date instead. |
| Stall building billed as rent | Claim amount cut or query raised | Category 3(a) pays space rent. In the claims we file, the organiser’s built-up stall package counts as space rent, but a separate contractor’s fit-out bill is a different cost. |
| Two people’s tickets filed | One ticket allowed, one dropped | Category 3(b) pays travel for one person per fair. |
| Paid from a personal account | Query for proof of payment by the unit | The unit must spend the money. A proprietor’s personal UPI payment with no link to the unit’s books is hard to prove. |
| Same cost claimed elsewhere | Recovery notice later | Paragraph 8 bars a second benefit for the same purpose. The order provides for recovery of the full amount as arrears of land revenue and blacklisting from future state assistance for a false claim. |
Honest limits
- Government Order 811 will not pay before you have paid. The scheme is a reimbursement, paid after the show, subject to approval and the budget of the financial year. Nothing in the order promises a payment date.
- Government Order 811 will not pay for the whole stall. The space rent cap is Rs 75,000 for a fair in India, however large the stall. Fit-out, hotel, freight of samples and a second traveller are outside category 3.
- Government Order 811 will not give you an appeal. The order sets no appeal route. A claim refused by the Authorised Committee can only be refiled if the window is still open, and only if the defect can be cured.
How Rasp International helps
Rasp International is an ISO 9001:2015 certified EXIM and DGFT advisory firm that has served 500+ exporters since 2019. For a trade show claim under Government Order 811 we work in this order, and we file in your unit’s name or guide your team to file.
- Registration date check. We read your Bureau and UPEPC certificates against the stall booking date before any other work. If the dates fail, we say so at once.
- Eligibility of the show in writing. We draft the question to your DIC on whether the UP International Trade Show 2026 is accepted under category 3, and keep the reply on file. We make no promise of approval.
- Invoice split. We separate space rent from stall building and travel from hotel, so the claim matches the heads in paragraph 3.
- Claim amount. We work out both heads against the caps and the Rs 25 lakh ceiling of paragraph 4.
- Filing and follow up. We file inside the 120 day window, use the 15 day self-correction period if needed and answer district queries within the 15 days the order allows.
Government fees, where any apply, are shown separately from our professional fee. We claim no link with the Bureau or the district office and make no promise of approval. Read how we work before you engage us.

What Is Not Yet Notified, Checked on 18 October 2026

Frequently asked questions
How much can I claim for a stall at the UP International Trade Show 2026?
Under Government Order No. 811/18-4-2025 category 3(a), you may be able to claim 75 percent of the stall space rent up to Rs 75,000. Under category 3(b), 75 percent of economy travel for one person up to Rs 30,000. The payable figure is the lower of the percentage and the cap for each head.
What is the last date to file the claim for the September 2026 show?
Paragraph 5(1) of Government Order 811 allows 120 days from the day the fair ends. The show ended on 29 September 2026. In the claims we file, the days are counted from 30 September 2026, so day 120 and the last date is 27 January 2027. File in December 2026 and leave January for queries.
Do I need Export Promotion Bureau and UPEPC registration before the show?
Yes. Government Order 811 pays only a unit registered with the Export Promotion Bureau UP and the UP Export Promotion Council at the time of the work. For a fair, the safe reading is that both registrations must predate the stall booking and payment. A registration made after the show does not help this claim.
Does the UP International Trade Show count as an international fair under Government Order 811?
Category 3(c) covers a fair organised by an export promotion council, or recommended or notified by the central government, a state government, an apex trade body, a commodity board or an embassy. The show website names the Government of Uttar Pradesh as organiser, so you may be able to claim. Confirm with your DIC first.
Can I claim the stall building and decoration cost?
Government Order 811 category 3(a) pays space rent and does not mention stall building, lighting, furniture or decoration. In the claims we file, a built-up stall package billed by the organiser counts as space rent. A separate contractor’s fit-out bill is a different cost. Keep the two invoices apart when you file.
Can two partners claim travel for the same fair?
No. Category 3(b) of Government Order 811 pays economy bus, rail or air travel for one person, who may be the proprietor, a partner, a director or an authorised person. File one ticket for the person who exhibited. A second traveller’s fare stays with the unit as an ordinary business cost.
Is hotel stay in Greater Noida covered?
No. Government Order 811 category 3 names two heads only, space rent and travel. Hotel, food, local taxi, sample freight and stall staff wages are not in the order. If you file them, the district will drop them and the query may delay the rest of the claim.
What happens if I file the claim after 120 days?
Paragraph 5(1) of Government Order 811 sets a maximum of 120 days from the date of the work. A later claim is not accepted and the order gives no appeal route. There is no condonation step in the order either, so a late claim is lost rather than delayed.
Can I claim Government Order 811 and a central scheme for the same stall?
No. Paragraph 8 of Government Order 811 bars assistance where a similar benefit has been taken or claimed under any other central or state scheme for the same purpose. If a council pavilion already reduced your rent, claim only on what you actually paid, and only if no other scheme covered that amount.
Where do I file the Government Order 811 claim online?
The claim is filed online through the district route in Government Order 811 and then shows on the portal of the District Industries Promotion and Entrepreneurship Development Centre. The order does not print the web address. Rasp International files for its clients, and your DIC gives you the route if you file yourself.
How long does the Government Order 811 claim take to be paid?
The order gives day counts for scrutiny, 15 days for self-correction, 21 days at the district and 15 days for the Bureau to list the claim, but no payment date. The Authorised Committee approves claims first come first served within the budget of the financial year, and payment comes by DBT.
Does the Rs 75,000 cap apply to every fair in the year?
Yes, per fair. Each international fair in India has its own Rs 75,000 space rent cap and Rs 30,000 travel cap under category 3, and its own 120 day window. All fairs, samples, publicity and certification claims together cannot exceed Rs 25 lakh per financial year under paragraph 4 of Government Order 811.
Can a merchant exporter claim the trade show subsidy in UP?
Government Order 811 speaks of MSME exporter units of Uttar Pradesh registered with the Bureau and the Council. The order does not print a manufacturer only condition for category 3. Confirm with your DIC that a merchant exporter unit with a valid Udyam registration is accepted, and keep the reply with the claim.
Do I need an affidavit on stamp paper for the Government Order 811 claim?
Government Order 811 does not print an affidavit format, while the sister orders for freight, air freight, ECGC premium and postage each print one on Rs 10 stamp paper. Whether your district asks for one in a trade fair claim is a question for your DIC. Ask before you file, and keep the answer in writing.
